This weekend sees Wollongong’s MacCabe Park come alive with Viva La Gong!
Plenty of local artists, performers and creators will display their work at the festival, which showcases all things fabulous, including bands, artists, interactive art, comedy, film and circus performers.
The festival kicks off at midday and runs until 9pm
Wollongong City Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery OAM said: “Viva La Gong this year has been shaped and inspired by the feedback from the community. Viva is a vibrant and interactive festival, an integral part of our city’s cultural life. People love the day and they love the music, acts, performers, arts and international food. I would encourage all community members to save the date and visit MacCabe Park.”
There’ll be a zone for drop-offs and pick-ups for people with disability at the Pioneer Hall car park in MacCabe Park. People with limited mobility who self-drive should contact Cultural Services on 4227 7111.
