The skies over the Northern Illawarra will once again come to life this weekend.
Although last weekend’s Festival of Flight was washed out, the amazing old warhorse ‘Connie’ still managed a spectacular, if somewhat slow and lumbering, flyover.
Now, this weekend, more than 1000 people are expected to turn out to Scarborough Hotel to watch two incredible acrobatic performances by Southern Bi-Plane Adventures.
Two bi-planes, including the lipstick-red WWII open cockpit spearman known as ‘Lilly Warra’ will perform breathtaking stunts and world-class aerobatic displays.
The Scarborough Hotel has sponsored the event, and will be the best vantage point to watch some of the best stunt-pilots in Australia do their thing.
Displays are scheduled for 1.30pm and 3.30pm
