Lovers of wine will rejoice this weekend, when Centennial Heritage Cellars re-launches the Helensburgh Wine Fair – this fantastic local event ran for several years at the Soccer club house, and has now been brought to the town centre, which is a public space that has recently been reinvented by the monthly markets.
Peter Doak says, “We will be presenting around 70 wines, along with a dozen beers and a dozen ciders. I think the wines are the best range to be sampled at any of the shows, with reds whites and bubbles.”
There is a $15 entry to taste at the Helensburgh Wine Fair, and all drinks can be purchased for $5 a glass. The event will be held between 12:30pm and 4:30pm this Sunday, 3rd March at Centennial Hotel, Helensburgh. The pub bistro will be open with oysters and pizza and there will be live music to accompany the wine.
