It’s been a huge week for local surfer Darcy DeClouett.
The Wombarra 16 year old took out the SA heat of the Ripcurl Gromsearch, then just a few days later, won the Scarborough Boardriders Open A Category at the club’s Presentation Day last weekend.
Darcy is the youngest surfer ever to take the prestigious A-Grade award.
Congratulations also to Finley McLaren who took out both the 14s and 18s categories, and Kasey Hargreaves who won both the Junior Girls and Girls categories.
The presentation also saw Ian Anderson and Peter Coleman inducted as Life Members of Scarborough Boardriders Club.
