The name and the menu have been rejigged under new ownership, and Thirroul’s ‘Fine Dining at Samuels’ has officially re-opened its doors!
With dark leather seating, whitewashed floors and funky lighting, the space is warm but classy, and the bar is well-stocked!
Manager Romain Bastianel has been at Samuels for 13 months and says while the team is the same, front of house and the kitchen has all been overhauled by the new owners, allowing the talented staff to work their magic.
“Our objective is to get one or two Hats,” says Romain, “I have always worked at restaurants with Michelin Stars, and our chef and pastry chef have also worked at ‘hatted’ restaurants. In fact, our chef was trained by the incredible Guillaume Brahimi!”
