11-time nominated Archibald artist , and Thirroul local, Paul Ryan is holding a solo exhibition at Corrimal from May 18.
The show will include a mix of his recent themes, including the ‘dandy’ series, (peacocky military men from the 1700s) as well as evocative and moody landscapes (this time with a twist), and a collection of portraits of his current muse, the actor Noah Taylor.
Also on display will be his ping pong bat series, which are unique and amazing.
Opening night is May 22 and the exhibition runs until June 20 at The Gallery, 98 Railway St Corrimal. All works are for sale.
All proceeds from the exhibition go to support the Artspace Studio and the Artspace Scholarship Program, which provides access to art tuition to disadvantaged kids.
