There are only a few days left to purchase some beautiful art to help support local artist Tanya Stubbles.
The art has been donated by clever local creatives, with all proceeds going to help Tanya and her family.
Tanya suffered a head injury in a fall at Clifton School of Arts last year and although her condition is improving, and she is now allowed out on weekend release, friends say she is still not well enough to come home.
Curator of PD Gallery in Coalcliff Pauline Denny says after being in a coma for almost two months, Tanya is extraordinarily lucky to be making such great progress.
“We are still selling raffle tickets for the Paul Ryan artwork,” says Pauline, “although we will be drawing that this month, so if you want a chance to win it, you need to get in soon.
“We also have several other pieces on the ‘Tanya Wall’, which are at such great prices. The artist gets nothing. I get nothing. It all goes straight to helping Tanya, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to secure some beautiful art and do something amazing at the same time. “
Pieces start at $50.
