The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a warning for hazardous surf conditions for Saturday August 19, making the ocean dangerous for rock fishing, boating, swimming and surfing.
The ocean has looked more like a lake over the past few days, but that’s expected to change. According to Swellnet, swells are predicted to reach around 10ft by late tomorrow afternoon.
South-facing beaches will be hardest hit.
The NSW Police Force, Marine Command, advises us to stay out of the water and don’t walk near exposed areas.
