A fundraising dinner will be held on Austinmer’s Moore Street on Friday October 25, raising money to support, empower and equip female survivors of abuse.
Hosted by local not-for-profit, The Eve Project, the event will bring the community together for a lovely dinner which includes food, live music and an awesome raffle.
Organiser and Eve Project co-founder Lisa Brooke says the night will help fund their work, making life easier for women who’ve had a hard time. “With such high abuse statistics in Australia, we believe we can all be part of the solution.
“By bringing together a combination of therapeutic services, training and mentoring programs and supported work experience we aim to provide pathways for these women to reclaim their lives, to the point where they are thriving and working towards a sustainable future.”
