Roadworks in Thirroul and the proposed closure of Bulli Pass are currently challenging local businesses and commuters.
Thirroul Neighbourhood Forum meets this Tuesday night. It’s a chance to have a say, and be heard, on issues affecting the Northern Illawarra through to Clifton.
The group has been working with Parliamentary Secretary Gareth Ward and Keira MP Ryan Park to prepare for the closure of the Pass. They’re calling for extra train stops at Bulli and to have the bushes cut back along Lawrence Hargrave Drive, so it’s safe for cyclists despite the predicted increase in traffic.
The forum engages with Wollongong Council, the State Government and the RMS and everyone is welcome.
The meeting will be held at 7pm on Tuesday September 20 at the Thirroul Community Centre and on the third Tuesday of every month (except December and January).
