Things are about to get downright spooky in Helensburgh!
Helensburgh Public School (AKA The Haunted Place of Screams) is holding a ‘Spooky Carnival’ on October 28 to raise money for new playground equipment.
There will be a haunted house, cake stalls, showbags, zombie tattoos, and a fancy dress parade, as well as quality food stalls including pulled pork rolls, gelato and a sausage sizzle.
P&C President Naomi Burley says Halloween is lots of fun, but many parents are uncomfortable with their kids trick or treating. “The Spooky Carnival allows the kids to celebrate in a fun, safe environment.”
The school is looking to raise $10,000 toward the $70,000 cost of new equipment.
The Spooky Carnival will be help on Friday October 28 from 4pm-9pm at Helensburgh Public School, Fletcher Street, Helensburgh.
