An art exhibition will be held at Clifton School of Arts next month, bringing together 21 local artists, all with a connection to the Northern Illawarra.
‘Close To Home’ might mean a swim at the beach, a meal with family or opposing Coal Seam Gas. Whatever the term means to you, this exhibition at the School of Arts promises to inspire.
Curators Ruth Harvey and Vyvian Wilson are presenting this diverse exhibition featuring a variety of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and printmaking.
Artists taking part in ‘Close To Home’ include Tony Hull, Moira Kirkwood, Kathryn Orton, Anita Larkin and Anthony Buselli.
‘Close To Home’ will be opened by Derek Kreckler, artist and Associate Professor, Faculty of Law, Humanities and the Arts, UOW on Friday June 5 from 6.30pm.
The exhibition runs from June 5-14 at Clifton School of Arts, Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Clifton.
