Illawarra Business Chamber is taking up the fight for better internet- and they’re giving you the chance to have your say!
The Chamber has vowed to get behind local businesses impacted by inadequate service and take the matter to local MPs, the Ombudsman and directly to the internet providers in a bid to fix the situation.
Chamber executive director Chris Lamont says reliable telecommunications are essential to business operations but many are experiencing sub-standard support.
“What is extremely concerning is the lack of follow-up or urgency by the providers to address these faults,” he says.
The Chamber is asking local businesses to share their internet and phone problems that have not been resolved at firstname.lastname@example.org
Small Business can file claims with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman for compensation for lost profit as a direct result of a telecommunications fault.
