Work is progressing well on the Imperial Hotel at Clifton, with the venue set to open by the end of this year- after closing its doors for the last time in 2003.
Venue owner, Shellharbour Workers Club, is now recruiting for a general manager to oversee operations, which will include a restaurant and all-day cafe.
The venue also plans to run lifestyle workshop classes, functions and meetings, as well as a picnic delivery service and a shuttle-bus from Thirroul to Stanwell Tops.
Shellharbour Workers says they’ve worked hard to retain the history of the iconic building, including the original front verandah, timber staircases and decorative arches.
Once the General manager is appointed, the venue will begin to build its team, creating more jobs in the local area.
