Several local high school students now have their artwork on display in Wollongong as part of Wollongong City Council’s ‘I Love Wollongong Because…” project.
The students have been invited to capture what they love about Wollongong in an image, with these then being displayed at Wollongong Youth Services.
The students from Bulli High focussed on the region’s natural and man-made environment, which have made reference to the ocean, the escarpment, and the man-made environment in between.
Bulli High is the fifth school to take part in the project with twenty images to be displayed at both inside and outside the centre right through until August.
Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery says it’s a great way to gain insight into what young people love about our city.
“I”m amazed at the quality and creativity of the images captured by the students,” he says.
