Parliamentary Secretary for the Illawarra Gareth Ward has now sent Ms O’Dwyer a letter regarding the campaign.
Mr Ward says as Wollongong City Council shares locals concerns for the matter, he is prepared to take action on behalf of local residents.
“A community workshop ‘Crossing Points’ has been organised at Thirroul District Community Centre and Library,” he says. “This meeting will facilitate conversation about pedestrian safety between Wollongong City Council, Roads and Maritime Services and the community.”
This Community Workshop will be held on February 6, 2018 from 5.30pm-7pm.
