Helensburgh’s Easter Outdoor Movie Night has been hailed a huge success!
Organiser Mattias Samuelson from Ray White Helensburgh says several hundred people turned out to be part of the fun. “Everyone had a great time,” he says. “We sold more than 200 sausage sandwiches for the Thistles, and the movie was lots of fun.”
“I think it’s really important we are a part of the community,” says Mattias. “There’s not a lot to do in Helensburgh and people are forced to travel to see a movie. People really appreciated the opportunity to have a night close to home with family and friends, doing something a bit out of the ordinary.”
“It was so much fun, it certainly looks like it’s something we will do again!”
Meanwhile, tickets are still on sale for the raffle, raising money for Kurt Drysdale and his family. They’re in the process of re-building their house so Kurt can come back to live in the Northern Illawarra- which is an expensive process.
“Tickets can still be purchased from Ray White Helensburgh and from Helensburgh Family Practice,” says Mattias. “First prize is a 55 inch Samsung Smart TV, and there are four minor prizes as well.
“The raffle will be drawn at the fundraising event at Tradies on Wednesday April 6.”
