Helensburgh residents could be just like Ninja Warriors – if a plan goes ahead to install exercise equipment in Charles Harper Park.
Council wants to hear what the locals have to say about an exercise station proposed for Charles Harper Park.
The equipment is proposed for the under-utilised space near Helensburgh Pool. If it goes ahead, the Pool’s fence would be relocated, which would also improving pedestrian links between Charles Harper Park and Rex Jackson Park.
The proposed equipment caters to strength, aerobic and flexibility training and would be suitable to various ages and fitness levels.
The equipment is planned to be installed in May/June this year.
Community engagement on the proposal is open until Saturday 14 March and people can view the plans in person at Wollongong, Thirroul and Helensburgh libraries.
Feedback can be provided by mail, or email and must be received by 5pm, Saturday 14 March.
