travel to our QLD Need a Feed headquarters where I meet with our program
partner organisations and also care for my ‘birth’ sister who is in a
wheelchair due to mental health issues (again, another story!).
coincided with me leaving three days after the annual Need a Feed Benefit night, which was a
great success, and home the day before Spring into Corrimal!
Chamber of Commerce which sponsored our volunteer shirts for Spring into Corrimal.
a Feed, and thanks to our fundraising efforts and the IMB Foundation, we had the
new delivery van on show!
Visitors to Spring into Corrimal were encouraged to
bring a can of food to show their support for Need a Feed and throughout the day
we collected two 120L wheelie bins of non-perishable food. This food will go a
long way toward supporting those in need. We also managed to make a few new connections,
share our story and hear some stories from the locals.
struggling local families lately. I am so glad we have the resources to support
those in need. The food and personal care parcels that have gone out in the
last couple of weeks have been made possible thanks to our volunteers who are giving, caring people and go the extra mile to help out however
they can to drop off food parcels to our partner organisations.
