Lawrence Hargrave Drive will be put through its paces this weekend.
Already traffic has increased following the closure of Bulli Pass, but now, busses are to replace trains from 2am tomorrow morning until 2am Monday morning while track work is carried out.
Busses will also run to an altered timetable. If you are considering travelling, have a look HERE
The move has outraged Keira MP Ryan Park, who says taking trains off the tracks at a time like this is shameful.
“Track work should have been done before the closure, to minimise impact on the road, and on rail users.”
Transport NSW says track work is vital to the safe running of rail services and is scheduled a year in advance.
