If you were in the Illawarra 30 years ago, you might have information that could solve a crime, and change your life!
Police will address the media today to announce a $1 million reward for information into the 1984 murder of racehorse trainer, George Brown- whose body was found at Bulli Tops more than 30 years ago.
The body of the 38-year-old was found in a burnt-out Ford Falcon sedan in bushland just before 11pm on Monday 2 April 1984.
Mr Brown died from head injuries inflicted prior to the vehicle fire.
Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad and are still investigating his murder under Strike Force Comboyne.
As their inquiries continue, a $1 million NSW Government Reward will be announced for information that leads to the conviction of those responsible for Mr Brown’s murder.
