A recent proposal to introduce a monthly market to Tingara Park (rear of Thirroul Surf Club) has drawn some heated debate regarding the proposed benefits that such a venture would bring.
The development of Thirroul Beach Market is the brainchild of three local residents, Kirrily Sinclair, Candice Greenwood and Sharon Ursell with a desire to bring together the community through a shared love of the community, food and design.
Be Community Focused. Thirroul Beach Market will become a community gathering place, a destination for locals and a place of diversity, interest, and conviviality. It will capitalise on the local community’s assets, inspiration and potential.
Be a Local Showcase. An opportunity for local and nearby makers and artisan provodores to showcase, promote and sell their products. It will feature a mix of high-quality produce sellers, artisans, makers and fashion stalls.
Enhance Thirroul Beach Reserve & Tingara Park. In this location, Thirroul Beach Market will create a strong link between the core retail zone of Thirroul Village Centre and Thirroul Beach.
