The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. We fund vital research into better treatments and cures. We invest at least $4 million each year in the work of Australia’s best researchers. We support patients and families by providing cost-free services including patient transport to and from treatment, fully-furnished accommodation located near major hospitals for regional and rural patients, counselling, emotional support, disease education, and practical support.
We aim to support and inform those living with the disease and educate those involved in its care and treatment. We are determined to raise community awareness and understanding of myeloma and to improve patient access to the latest treatments at affordable prices. The Myeloma Foundation of Australia Inc. is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organisation.
