Last week, a bunch of keen riders set off from Melbourne in an effort to raise money for little local Chloe Saxby.

Nine year old Chloe is living with degenerative condition ‘Vanishing White Matter’ disease and the race is on to find a cure.
The 18 riders, including Chloe’s dad Grant, are now home safe and well, having made the ride from Melbourne to Wollongong, and collecting $175,000 along the way- money which will be used to help fight Vanishing White Matter disease.
Chloe’s mum Nyree says the team encountered snakes, road closures and fatigue. “But the inland towns really opened their arms,” she says. “Plus, they did come across the REAL Melbourne Cup at a hotel they were eating at, so they all got to have s hold!”
