A search is underway off the coast of Bulli this morning for a missing man and child.
About 6.20pm yesterday (Saturday 6 June 2020), a boat carrying four people capsized near Bulli Point.
Officers from Wollongong Police District – with assistance from the Marine Area Command, PolAir, the Toll Ambulance helicopter and Surf Life Saving NSW – commenced a search.
About 8pm, two men aged 31 and 23, were pulled from the water by the Toll Ambulance Helicopter and taken to Wollongong hospital in a stable condition.
Due to conditions, the search had to be suspended at midnight for the missing 5-year-old boy and 28-year-old man .
