This weekend is Spring into Corrimal, and in breaking news, Rugby 7’s Olympic Gold Medallist Nicole Beck will lead the Grand Parade , then join in at the official opening at the main stage in Memorial Park.
60,000 people are expected to head into the 35th Annual Festival on Sunday September 11, for a great day for the whole family.
Organiser and president of the Corrimal Chamber of Commerce Paul Boulterwood says it’s a great day for the whole Northern Illawarra community.
“800 people will take part in the street parade at 10am. We will have 270 market stalls, then the Stocklands Car Park will be full of rides.
“This event celebrates the start of Spring,” he says. “And this year, we will be supporting two local organisations, the Aspect School and Need a Feed, so it will be a great day for everyone.”
