Take the long & winding road to Beaches Hotel, Thirroul, this Queens Birthday long weekend to soak up some classic Beatles music, performed lovingly by a line-up very rarely seen on one stage together.
The Beatles Show returns to Thirroul for the fifth consecutive year. Held over two days, the show brings together 3 great things; Beatles music, talented local & international musicians, and beer.
As John Lennon once said, “Music is everybody’s business. It’s only the publishers who think people own it”.
So get in on the spirit of shared music, and enjoy the magic of the Beatles showcased by internationally renowned, and home-grown local talent side by side.
The Beatles show at Thirroul has grown over the past five years to be presented now as a collection of songs unequalled by any other band or artist.
“This show has snowballed into an amazing musical event, whilst still retaining its original concept of celebrating friendships and of getting together to play music, which has touched every one of us in some way,” the show’s Director/Bassist, Zoltan John Budai explains.
You will be taken down memory lane, and sure to get singing along with the sweet sounds of vocalists Jeff Duff, Greedy Smith, Mitchell Anderson, Spencer Jones, Kevin Bennett, Genevieve Davis, Jeremy Edwards, Sam Bennett, Rockin’ Russ Herriot, Liza Ohlback, Christian Power, Bernie Segedin, Tim Stead, Dave Wilkins & Greg Willis.
Joined by master musicians Rex Goh, Harry Brus, Paul Berten, Chris Alford, Zoltan John Budai, Jacob Cook, Greg Ohlback, and Josh Smith.
“In 2104 the show presented over 70 songs – a labour of love you could say – but also a chance to challenge ourselves as musicians and singers,” says Budai.
Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th will feature two totally unique nights of music performances.
If you’re the Beatles biggest fan, or their smallest, get down to the Beaches Hotel and perhaps enjoy one or two quiet ones before you start singing at the top of your voice!
