Looking for a good book?
Although only half way through, Charlotte Wood’s ‘The Natural Way of Things’ is so far one of the most engaging books I’ve read this year.
Which is only relevant because she happens to be coming to Thirroul!
‘The Natural Way of Things won the 2016 Stella Prize, and has been named the 2016 Indie Book of the Year as well as the 2016 Indie Fiction Book of the Year. It’s been named the 2015 Booktopia Book of the Year and shortlisted for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award. It’s also been shortlisted for this year’s Miles Franklin Award and optioned for a feature film!
Charlotte has written another seven books and is one of Australia’s most-awarded authors.
You can hear Charlotte speak at Thirroul Library from 3pm on Saturday June 18 as part of the Wollongong Writers Festival. Bookings are essential and can be made HERE
