Local businesses are being urged to take extra precautions following a spate of attempted break-ins at Thirroul over the holiday period.
Thieves have attempted to force entry into the rear of several premises on Raymond Rd, finding their way into at least one- and damaging several properties in the process.
Police are in the area today conducting fingerprinting. They’re also searching for a cash drawer and an expensive coffee machine which have been taken from one of the businesses.
