Thirroul author (and Balgownie butcher) Sean Williams will speak about his children’s book, My Nanna Nelly will tour the Illawarra Tomorra, at Wollongong Central Library this afternoon, August 25.
The book celebrates the Illawarra’s unique scenery, history and natural beauty. His individual rhyming style and lovable characters have given this book a sense of adventure and exploration.
The story is narrated by Nanna Nelly’s granddaughter and follows their tour of the Illawarra from the mountains to the sea.
It’s a great opportunity to read your children a book about the area in which they live, with all the recognisable landmarks!
Sean has created a joyous collection of places-to-go in the Illawarra featuring Helensburgh, Dunmore, Kembla Heights, Jamberoo, Gerringong, and Kiama.
Mr Williams will speak at Wollongong Central Library, Burelli Street, Wollongong, at 4pm on 25 August. The author talk is suitable for both children & adults.
