Two people have been transported to hospital following yesterday’s three-vehicle head on accident at Thirroul.
The accident closed the road for more than two hours, with traffic diverted into back streets, causing traffic chaos through the area.
Emergency services were called to Lawrence Hargrave Drive near Lachlan Street around 6.30pm following reports a south-bound vehicle had ploughed head-on into two vehicles heading north.
The woman driving the south-bound vehicle suffered what’s believed to be a broken leg.
The 17 year old Coledale girl was transported with abrasions. Both were in stable conditions.
The other driver escaped uninjured.
