Wollongong Council is planning to install a footpath between Cliff Parade and Hamilton Road in Thirroul and they want to know which side of the road to build it.
Council says a footpath on the Eastern side of Hamilton Road would be potentially more expensive and would cross three driveways, but would mean less road-crossing and it’s the current natural path. Two Banksia trees would need to be removed.
A footpath on the Western side would cross five driveways but no trees would have to be removed
They’re calling for community consultation on the proposed footpath.
Submissions should be made by email to email@example.com
